So I've seen this on other forums and one of my friends particularly enjoys this on one of the forums he visits. Basically what happens is I say for example, "Ask me about living in New Orleans" and I'll take questions (serious or not) about it. Eventually we'll move on to something else and it can be a job/interest/whatever. So...

No I was not, I saw what Katrina did, but the vast majority of people did not stay around for Katrina.

Fair enough. What's the best part of living in New Orleans? The worst?

The best part is that right now, November 1st, it is 81 degrees Fahrenheit (plus it is gorgeous-trees and whatnot). The worst part is bourbon street which I would consider the shit hole of the world (it smells and just is horribly disgusting).

What's the most beautiful part of the city?

Royal street which is right next to bourbon has really nice, old french and spanish architecture without the obnoxious mind-fuckage that is Bourbon. Also City Park is humongous. Feel free to derail and ask a question at anytime btw.

Is the weather there miserable most of the time? Also, how many lighthouses have you seen in your lifetime?

The weather is usually good, except when we get feet of snow dumped on us. And to many to count.
